The Client
An established electronics manufacturing business, supplying their products to distributors in both the UK and all around Europe.
The Challenge
Our brief was to improve the Invoice Finance terms with their long-time provider. We were also tasked with consolidating expensive unsecured loans funded during the pandemic, to reduce monthly outgoings and re-inject the savings back into the company’s working capital.
The Solution
We secured a £750,000 IF facility, £250,000 more than the client’s current provider was offering, whilst reducing their overall fees and tariff of charges. Our lender was also able to facilitate a £125,000 Recovery Loan, enabling the client to pay off the existing expensive loans, re-injecting approximately £7,000 per month back into the cashflow through the reduced payments.
Summary
A very specific set of terms were sourced and delivered. Our goal was to increase improve the IF facility and improve cashflow without saddling the business with even more debt, which is exactly what we achieved. The client was ecstatic with the result.
