Liquid Corporate Finance has celebrated it’s first birthday today.

So, 12 months ago today, I decided to realise a long-time ambition and start my own Credit Brokerage.
I had worked in Asset Finance for 18 years and had always tried to listen and learn as much as I could at every opportunity. I became the why? guy. Always asking questions and wanting to know the outcome of what I was being asked to do and boy am I glad I did that. The advice and lessons I learned from my colleagues, bosses and business partners have been invaluable in running my own business.
Like many others, I have had to steer the ship through the most unprecedented period in our lifetime, relying on only determination and sheer will not to be beaten. From the disruption to the business to being unwell for the best part of two to three months, there have been huge challenges to overcome. The fact that I am sitting here able to write this article is great testament to that determination and I feel very proud to be able to do so.
I must thank every single client for believing that Liquid Corporate Finance continues to be the brokerage to entrust their financial affairs and livelihoods with. I am more appreciative than you will ever know. I have also received the most amazing support from my lending panel; many of whom I have had a great relationship with over the last 18 years and many new ones too. Without lenders, I would simply not have a business.
The last 12 months has been an amazing ride so far and much has been achieved. The business is on a very sound footing and 2021 and beyond represents a huge opportunity for growth. We have an extensive, supportive and ever-growing lending panel, robust and secure systems, an ever-expanding base of clients and introducers and a core mission to keep offering the very best service we possibly can to our clients.
If I had to describe our first 12 months journey, I would say that 2020 has been about navigating a long and winding road. In 2021, we join the motorway and we look forward to sharing our continuing journey with you all.
